Bout of Books is a week-long read-a-thon from Monday, May 13th to Sunday, May 19th. You can find my sing up post here. As I promised back then I would make a conclusion post about how I managed to participate in my very first read-a-thon. Some of you might’ve noticed my updates on twitter or goodreads, and for those who haven’t here are the results.
I’ve had my headphones for 5 years now and last week they decided to retire. Anyone got some suggestions on some good headphones worth checking out?

So in English class we had to draw a scene from The Great Gatsby. After the drawings were done the teacher was showing them to the class, and one drawing was a pic of Gatsby reaching towards at the green light, but in the drawing Gatsby didn’t have hands. So my teacher starts saying something like how this picture has hidden meaning and portrays the helplessness Gatsby feels, and the kid next to me just casually says “I can’t draw hands.”
The Swedes are bursting of joy waving their flags and proudly present the host of Eurovision. Hymning the national song with the hands on their hearts they make themselves cosy in the couch in front of the television.
